Hired to helm an Americanized take on a British play, director Lloyd Fellowes does his best to control an eccentric group of stage actors. With a star actress quickly passing her prime, a male lead with no confidence, and a bit actor that's rarely sober, chaos ensues in the lead up to a Broadway premiere.

An absolutely phenomenal cast at their slapstick/farce best. The movie is enjoyable, but I kept thinking “this must be better as a play”
If you like a chorus Line, this is a movie set after the auditions. It's making the process of the show. And turning twisting humor
This is the original “The Play That Goes Wrong”. Very funny, but way better on stage.
Could be the funniest thing ever made. A masterclass in Farce and the best actors to bring it to you.
This is a real hidden gem of a film for me.
While some of the changes to the script are detrimental, its still a great adaptation of an extremely funny stage show
Fantastic farce and some really great performances from... well you know!
Cute, but even with a great cast having fun and Caine Caine-ing it still doesn’t really work. Fans of theater will probably love it.
Absolutely hilarious! This is a wonderful example of prop use in comedic acting, as well as physical jokes, etc . I was dying laughing!
It’s like a giant puzzle; you have to pay attention to get all the comedy. It was so unique, I didnt mind the unsatisfying story conclusion.
