Haven't seen it in a while, but I remember it being quite unique, a little scary, and a bit whimsical all at the same time
A bit of a wild ride, nice monster designs. But imagine if this was Nighybreed. Just think of Bill sowing his wild oats in the underground
It’s a fun horror movie that’s heavier on the whimsical side. A little lacking in some areas, but it’s made up for in the creature design.
A Favorite,highly-memorable Creature Makeup,Good cast,a treat to see David Cronenberg, the pace may be all over the place,but a solid watch!
With great world building and a captivating performance by David Cronenberg, Clive Barker proves he is a staple in horror cinema.
At last the Directors cut, nearly a totally different movie and how Clive Barker wanted it. Brilliant! Loved it.
Saw the director's cut and enjoyed it. Not scary, but has that classic Barker otherworldly feel accented with a bit of deliberate cheese.
I like how the monsters are likeable and the real Cronenberg is Cronenberg himself.
It has some kind of dark charm. Unfortunately, that thing called "plot" is missing.
