Merit, a U.S. Army veteran suffering from PTSD, is repeatedly tortured by visions of her deceased friend and company buddy Zoe. After her Afghanistan service in 2016, she attends group therapy until Dale, her grandfather and former Lieutenant Colonel, is recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Merit steps up to his aide, and discovers more about herself and her family, while also gaining the courage to put her metaphorical demons to rest.

User Reviews

Pretty good veterans PSA. Comedy aspect is a little flat but the lead performance is affecting. Worth checking out. 6 out of 10.

An engaging drama cheapened by the light-hearted tone and its poor attempt in comedy. Zoe’s quips get annoying fast.

Will be recommending this to my clients (I'm a therapist) in discussions of PTSD and survivor's guilt. Definitely a drama. Worth the watch.

More of a drama than a comedy. A good movie dealing with mental health. Worth a watch.

So raw, heartbreaking and captivating.
