Well paced with some beautiful moments. An early look at the west and the incoming civilization.
The cinematography is like poetry, and Fonda’s performance is very fine. Could have been written better.
Good fictional retelling of the Gunfight at the OK Corral…just not as good or true to life as Tombstone or Wyatt Earp
Ford mythologizes the gunfight at OK Corral with his typical lyrical style. I guess I didn’t actually want him to “print the legend” though.
I didn't like westerns before watching this and still didn't afterwards. It's a well made film but did not keep me interested
