A ferocious hug for the creative mind. Satisfies a sensory, existential itch you didn’t know you had. The Mad Max Fury Road of music docs.
This documentary may go down in history as a turning point in the way we view documentaries. A stunning, surreal, tribute worthy of Ziggy.
Very chaotic montage (but in a good way), I enjoyed the fact that it was Bowie himself narrating rather than having friends and family talk.
Never seen anything like this before. Not so much interested in the man as the artist. Fascinating retrospective of an extraordinary talent.
No documentary has ever described it’s subject in such a visceral and true way
A M A Z I N G, one of the best documentaries I have ever seen
There is a lot going on here; perhaps too much. But then, I think that’s what I love about Bowie, so, it works.
It's everything you would want in a musical about Bowie!
Absolutely viscerally phenomenal- an all consuming burst of provocative glimpses into Bowie's life. I cried four times.
A vibrant celebration of the out-of-this-world artist David Bowie.
