Aging rancher and self-made man, George Washington McLintock is forced to deal with numerous personal and professional problems. Seemingly everyone wants a piece of his enormous farmstead, including high-ranking government men and nearby Native Americans. As McLintock tries to juggle his various adversaries, his wife—who left him two years previously—suddenly returns. But she isn't interested in George; she wants custody of their daughter.

Love it, John Wayne wanted a western retelling of Shakespeare’s taming of the shrew and they did a hilarious job of it.
Not your typical Wayne flick, really a borderline rom-com. Doesn’t take itself seriously and is absurd at times but I love it
Lighthearted western romp with the Duke as a rancher beset by a host of difficulties. Loads of fun!
One of John Wayne's later movies that still captures his western charm. The side cast acts around his dynamic in a way that feels pretty fun
Hilarious classic John Wayne movie has everything you want in an old western comedy
Despite some of the outdated content (spanking women as a solution), a pretty fun and active western comedy. Glad he sided with Comanches.
An example of strong work ethic and clean living. Funny stuff!
Grains of salt needed. Will be uncomfortable sometimes. Grew up with it so I’m biased. I enjoy it lots.
The first John Wayne film I remember watching. It's certainly a treat that has nice comedic beats and is quite well acted.
Not that great. I would recommend The War Wagon, TMWSLV or Rooster Cogburn over this one. This is still decent tho
