So detailed and well written. Shots are incredible.
Great watch. Was overlooked coz it came out the same year as LoTR: Return of the King.
Good adaptation of the book (I overlook the French substitution) and the performances are great!
A masterpiece of historical fiction. The attention to detail does not get in the way of telling a great story.
Ah yeah it deserves a watch. A bit cheesy or something at times but it has a heartfelt quality to the plight of the men at sea.

If you're into time period pieces then this is the movie to watch. An enjoyable film and hidden gem.
Good adventure film. Touches of drama here and there elevate the film from passable to good. Crowe brings his A game.
I describe this as deceptively good, because it’s one of those movies that starts slow, but you end up glued to the screen. Check it out!
