I know it's odd, but I wasn't familiar with her story, so this was pretty interesting for me.
Brilliant acting, loved the score by Hildur and Jóhann
Love this portrayal of a woman often mischaracterized in the book. ;-) Poignant and poetic vibe turns this good story into a great one.
What, is sacrilege just some fun little activity these days?
Not a fan of Biblical movies but I loved that Mary was seen as an apostle and not as a prostitute.
The vibes of the movie were inexplicable and Phoenix was amazing
Interesting from an historical perspective but it was slow moving and just a bit too long.

Underwhelming movie that fails to add anything new to the Jesus story. Phoenix ,who can do no wrong, and Mara are good in their roles though
