Over the top with the suffering half-crazed artist trope, but Douglas makes the larger than life character work. A. Quinn is good as Gaugain
Kirk Douglas as the troubled and brilliant Van Gogh. Kind of a dime a dozen biopic.
I hadn't heard much about this movie but was glad I took the time to watch it. Learned some new things and enjoyed Douglas' performance.
