An uncomfortable film with stellar performances.
Great acting, directing, editing and writing (mostly). But this “relationship” between a grown man and a 14 year old girl is… verydisturbing
Not very faithful to the book. Kubrick does well with sly humor throughout. Entertaining. Peter Sellers is why you watch.
I was surprised when, reading the book after seeing this, I found out how much was omitted. Still a great film with capturing performances.

While I was entertained, I was often disgusted. I hate how they had Delores portrayed as promiscuous in school.
It's hard to believe this book was made into a movie twice, given it's subject matter. It's a little to uncomfortable to enjoy.
