A surprising unknown film considering it’s quality. Can only assume the niche setting is why. Excellent war film which deserves attention.
The movie is not a masterpiece but quite realistic and historically accurate. Anthony Quinn and Oliver Reed give great performances.
Quinn is powerful as Libyan professor with no military experience-asked to lead his country against Italian invaders. 31/2 stars. True story
