John LeTour is a recovering drug user who suffers insomnia and still deals to a high-end New York clientele, even though he’s trying to move on from the business. John’s professional midlife crisis becomes something more acute — and dangerous — when he re-encounters an old flame while a string of seemingly drug-related murders rocks the city.

I was swept away by this movie. Shrader knows how to build a history, and this one is more than worth your time.
It's sweaty, seedy Schrader. Well done in all aspects, and the cast is killer. However it hews so close to Taxi Driver as to pale a bit.
More for film buffs though I got enough out of this atmospheric tale too. Dark, moody, neo noir style loaded with thematic & symbolic shots.
It's interesting mid-life crisis movie disguised as a thriller.
Schrader does his usual thing. Dafoe and Sarandon both give excellent performances
Willem does the job. Interesting theme. It's a typical P. Schrader movie, but that's not a bad thing
Strong performances and a surprisingly capturing plot
A meandering tale about low-life living, paranoia, and clinging on to small fractions of stability. Not as good as Affliction or Taxi Driver
Can't decide good or meh. So much taxi driver vibes, Paul Schrader should've made some differences in the style. Unoriginal imp
Willem Dafoe quietly carries the weight of the 90s like a trench coat with Wi-Fi.
