Be careful when you stare into the void, or you may find it staring back. Masterful, haunting, and effective. More than meets the eye.
Psychological horror...Very tense, even if is slow and doesn't go crazy
Undeniably very well made, but obviously messed up film that is not a pleasant watch. No gore is shown thankfully but it's a heavy film
A really well-made Canadian thriller about fanatism and obsession. But i kinda got confused on the purpose of the protagonist's actions.
Holy hell this crawls under your skin. The “less is more” approach to this topic works so well and the acting is absolutely amazing
I can’t see myself rewatching this, but it’s a good slow burn that puts the complexity of human nature (& it’s deviances) on full display.
Great little film. Way better than I was expecting.
If the lead’s motives matched the atmosphere and cinematography, the film would be excellent. Still, very tense triller that stucks with you
The opening one shot scene was pretty great, and it gets kind of weird from there, but stays intense and wraps up nicely
Dopamine death and chemical curiosity / All this, there to be absorbed / The eyes bored deep / Empty pools to be filled
