Not a bad insight, but flashbacks are disappointing, they don't create mood of the era
This movie gives a glimpse of organized crime during that period. Overall Lansky is a middle of the road crime movie for fans interested.
Not as fast-paced as most gangster movies. But an interesting story and enjoyable.
The director stitched together some scenes. The actors didn't seem sure what to do. Keitel & Lansky, both Jewish, But unconvincing portait.
Interesting subject, boring execution (pun intended). Even gang hits -- one of which involves graphic eye gouging -- are flat.
Slow and fairly dry biopic. It is a passable historic take on pioneering US gangsters, notably Meyer Lansky. Scrapes in at 6/10.
Sort of interesting but nothing really special
Well done biopic with good acting. If you like gangster films give this one a watch.
An incomprehensible mess that focuses more on Sam Worthington’s affair than a competently shot, coherent story.
