I love the social aspect of the terror, the ghosts that haunt you for the things you have done
Not your modern tale of La Llorona. This film shows the corruption of Guatemala's government and of the war crimes that occurred.
1st Guatemalan telling for me and its story is beyond distressing, I can only imagine the Horror to come into play soon. Pain and Suffering
Very slow and lacks a real payoff to the buildup, but the story is expertly told and wholly unique

Serious content with an interesting twist on la llorona folktale. Great to see Rigoberta Menchu Tum’s cameo in the courtroom.
Wanted to like it, but the film was boring.
Haunting movie about the horrors of a military dictatorship. Not very scary. Ominous. Well composed. Slow but good payoff.
Not as good as the curse of La LLorona but it is still a pretty good movie.
Loved this take on the legend
