Some of this looks beautiful, there is a neat storyline about a toxic relationship but largely this just meanders around until it finishes.
Captures a wide eyed fascination with the world in terms of an insecure relationship. Brilliant cinema when sound was first coming to film.
Michel Simon is an absolute treasure and his character in this movie is wonderful. Emotionally captivating and very funny movie
