Extremely emotional story that has late 70’s camera work and editing, so it’s a little dated, still very much worth a watch
Every Boomer I know told me this impacted them. Now I get it. Brutal and beautifully acted. And I still stand it - the kids aren't alright

There are probably hundreds of movies with this same premise and plot, but Meryl Streep and Dustin Hoffman really make this movie special.
Heartbreaking the first time you see it... Dustin Hoffman earns every bit of your empathy and is compelling throughout. A great movie.
