Based on a novel, the film is almost all dialogue, showing how a revolutionary & a gay man can help one another when sharing their humanity.
Simply stunning. William Hurt and Raul Julia both give stellar performances in this beautiful adaptation of a deeply complex&elusive novel.
Full of really great ideas but it’s less than the sum of its part. Awesome presentation too
