Made me feel sad in a good way I think still don’t really know man that was kind of a lot for a moment
I did not enjoy it myself, but I understand why it's considered a good film. It's raw, unsettling, and the actors are naturals.
Its just like those anti-sex and drigs ads but its 90 minutes and based
Really tough watch, still has a prescient (if not a little blunt) story even though it’s almost 30 years old
One of the best movies from the 90s while being a timeless modern masterpiece
Unflinchingly honest film about kids in New York left to their own devices. Early performances by Chloë Sevigny & Rosario Dawson.
Raw, kitchen-sink realism type film. A brooding and honest take on coming of age.
A classic. Whether you like it or not, it is hard to argue that the film doesn't stick with you
This is not a super film in terms of scenes, actors etc. You have to take it as a different perspective about teens, drugs, violence andsex
will always blame this film for my virginity. watched this a few years back when i was 11 and i even share the same name as the girl UGH
Education, trust, responsibility, social pressure, group behaviour, various themes to discuss with teens...Tough.
It's scary, is good, is terrible. It makes you think. You learn. It's lots of things. It left a mark in my teenager self.
An alarm call like this hits harder than simply saying "hedonism & a lacking social system is bad". Great but slightly outside my preference
Unpleasantly honest. It was quite hard to watch it for me, but it is inarguably a good movie.
Brutal movie, but fascinating. Growing up in a rural area, this colored my impression of new York kids as dirty, dangerous and sex crazed
Thoughtfull drama pretty realistic about adolescence and AIDS that works well as a social commentary.
An uncomfortable disaster that's masked as "the reality of teenagers" when it really is just Larry Clark being weird and creepy.
Raw and lively. A haunting depiction of youth in the 90s New York City. Definitive teen movie.
Disturbing, but definitely worth seeing.
Probably the most real piece of media I have ever consumed. Chilling
