Slow character study with some old-school action spectacle. Laurence Olivier wears brown-face to play a Muslim. Not really a true story.
There's drama with the government wanting to maintain strength and the hero refusing to comply, but it's all just so repetitive & boring.
The scenery is beautiful and the plot is interesting! It looks extremely advanced for it's time with battle scenes and technical stuff!!!
