Teen skater Ken Park (nicknamed Krap Nek; his name spelled and pronounced backward) kills himself at a Visalia skate park; his death bookends the lives of four other young people who knew him: Shawn, the most conventional; Tate brims with psychotic rage; Claude is habitually harassed by his brutish father and coddled, rather uncomfortably, by his enormously pregnant mother; and Peaches looks after her devoutly religious father, but yearns for freedom. They're all rather tight, or so they claim.

Coming of age, a day in the life style film with heavy adult themes
It’s a dark and controversial film. I must give the film credit for the cinematography. The shots are designed to create optimal discomfort.
The story of a group of problematic teenagers. Really crude in terms of sex and violence
Dark film and pretty edgy. Straightforward movie, not as good as Kids or gummo, but a similar feel
An awful and repulsive movie that's only purpose seemed to be to shock the viewer. The massage isn't even that deep. Edgy and pretentious.
Dark. Rugged filmmaking. It seems to be the coming of age films that are sometimes difficult to watch. Straight forward cinema.
Its really fucked up, but worth a watch.
Another Clark's take on troubled youth, now focusing broadly on their chaotic households. Darkly engaging stories that feel so realistic
Same director as kids - basically the same movie as kids concept wise. Very weird sexual scenes but I guess that’s how kids were in the 90s
So this is what Eddie was up to, before returning to Derry.
