It’s not perfect but for some reason it hit me just right. Love the concept & the world it builds. Unsettling in every regard.
An interesting debut film that plays out like a backwater Wicker Man. Not every idea lands, but it’s not to be faulted for being unique.
Low budget Lovecraftian horror that punches above its weight class. I enjoyed this much more than expected. Dark material.

There is not a lot to like about this movie. Plot is boring, acting is ok, horror? It didn't really scare anyone it was mostly epileptic.
Unbearably frustrating. She did great but almost everyone else is awful. You don't want her to save these people, they are awful.
Not great. Slow and didn't amount to much. I didn't hate it, but I wouldn't recommend it, either.
This movie tries to do several things to be scary and what it really needed was a likable character
An inventive and quiet little indie-thriller.
