In 1944 Poland, a Jewish shop keeper named Jakob is summoned to ghetto headquarters after being caught out after curfew. While waiting for the German Kommondant, Jakob overhears a German radio broadcast about Russian troop movements. Returned to the ghetto, the shopkeeper shares his information with a friend and then rumors fly that there is a secret radio within the ghetto.

Robin Williams plays a Jew in a ghetto during wwII who lies about having a radio.
Most boring WWII movie I've seen. Jewish ghettos are boring and sensory deprived.
Good movie about giving hope in times when there seems there is none.
Robin in his serious drama stretch killing it
Now this truly shocked me that Robin would make such a schmuck move 2 attempt 2 imitate the great Benigni film Life Is Beautiful! WTF, why?
Very Oscar batey but I enjoyed some of it and robin williams was good as always
Not brilliant, but worth the watch for Mr. Williams' performance. About as lighthearted as a holocaust film can be. Decent overall.
A sad, but realistic story. Robin Williams is doing his job as always so you can't help but smile. Brilliant acting and script, good drama.
not the best holocaust movie but the plot is unique (because it’s almost entirely fiction.)feels like its trying to be “life is beautiful”
Watched this movie about 30 times in German, therefore I have no clue what it's about.
