You can see there is so much potential coming down the road for the young Gilliam. Got his quirky stamp all over it. A little slow though
If Monty python is your thing this is for you. Otherwise don't watch it.
I'd recommend it to Python megafans or those who want to see Gilliam's evolution as a filmmaker.
Not great. The humour is dry and seems like the 70’s version of brain rot. Gross humour, I don’t know why Dad wanted to watch this…
Some fun to be had here but it all feels a little off and not as solid of a watch as it should be
A very terry gilliam movie. If you like his other works youll probably enjoy this one. Very holy grail like
A lot of the feel of The Holy Grail, but certainly not iconic. One for the Gilliam completionists but not really his best.
It’s Terry gilliam’s first solo directing gig, and if your a month python fan I’m sure you’ll love it. If not then you might get bored :p
A recommended watch for any Gilliam/ Palin fan but others can give it a miss.
If you like Monty Python then you may like the movie. Stars Michael Palin and directed by Terry Gilliam. It’s cheese, but still entertaining
