Extrordinary! This reminded me that this art form used to be good.
A very fine film from Woody Allen. The complete opposite of Allen’s previous film, Annie Hall. This is a very bleak film.
Probably the most painful of all Allen's films, with some interesting points about mental health
This movie show the width of Allen’s talent range. His first drama which is deep, disturbing and dark.
I really like this movie because it felt real. Dialogue may seem too theatrical at times but overall, it hit the mark in terms of emotion.
Decent-ish drama that does little to set itself apart from similar films but has a fantastic trio of actresses who make the movie work
Very serious dramatic performances from the leads and a clever script. Very dry and a bit slow. It’s middle of the road at best
31/2* W. Allen homage to Ingmar Bergman. The drama is in the facial expressions, body language, tones of voice--hence the title.
One of Woody Allen's best (and most underrated and underseen). Woody's Bergman nod. Geraldine Page gives a career best performance
Not so much a tribute to Bergman as a carbon copy of his pace and overall style
