Eerie & horrifying, characters you actually care about and at the end there’s even a part that brings the horror straight into your home.
The best found footage movie I've seen. The movie draws the audience in as participant in the plot. Plenty of creepy and disgusting imagery.
Gripping found footage infused with genuine dread, bolstering a portrait of a desperate mother. Will hopefully become a classic.

I didn't have a clue what was going on. The audio was in Chinese, the subtitles were in English but it was all somehow Greek to me.
As a southeast Asian who grew up in believing Buddhism, this was scary. The jump scares definitely made me jump.
