Sam, an aspiring stand-up comedian and au pair struggling with PTSD, weighs whether to join the search for Brooke, a missing teenage girl she used to nanny. The story unfolds between the present—where Sam tries to recover from her trauma and return to the stage—and the past, where memories of Brooke make it increasingly difficult to ignore her disappearance.

Well-made drama about a comedian getting over trauma when her former au pair charge goes missing, very funny at times, Sennott is fantastic
This movie caused such a visceral reaction for me. It took a few sitting to watch the whole thing so I could reflect. Funny, dark and hard.
Not what I have expected, in a sense of exceeding my expectations. Gorgeous story about grief and friendship, worth every second.
so beautifully made, amazing soundtrack!! one of the best films ive seen so far .
The joy of making things right with someone you genuinely love and care for is something that gets me every time.
there are very few movies that make me cry, but this one sure was one of them. From the acting to the script the whole thing was amazing
This was so good. I didn’t know where it was going. It’s funny and sad and endearing. I love Rachel.
It a really charming yet beautiful film about a comedian and how they overcome trauma with a really good pay off ending, Sennott delivers
Rachel Sennott could do anything and I will be first in line to see it
Lots of funny moments in an otherwise very serious movie. There are some structure problems that make this confusing, but it’s a good watch
