Apt messaging and a firm, worthy performance from Torres lifts an otherwise decent film overall about the military dictatorship in Brazil.
This film’s events could happen in the future in the U.S., where totalitarianism, repression, and human rights violations may become real.
It is scary that even now such disasters abound. This minute.
Um trabalho genuinamente maduro e transcendental. O telespectador é transportado para os anos 70, e sofre as aflições da protagonista. 10/10
