Three 6 Mafia soundtrack and decent cinematography boost this
I loved it because it showed how hard it is to actually be a rapper. Maybe not nowadays, but back then you actually had to have something.
It’s hard out here for a pimp when you got a whole lot of ladies jumping ship. Pretty much sums up the morale of the story.
Gritty vision of a pimp chasing his musical dream and the way it affects the people who support him and those who don’t.
31/2* Terence Howard gives an amazing performance as a desperate-near suicidal- wannabe musician. Worth the watch just for him.
