The acting is a bit stilted.Feels a lot like a play, expected for Mamet I guess. Fun if you like con flicks, and enjoyed the ending.
Ebert’s review convinced me to watch it. I don’t think it’s as surprising to a viewer now, but it’s a decent psychological thriller.
Interesting film involving conning a psychotherapist. You trust anyone, and you can't trust anyone to see through a con. D. Mamet specialty.
I think it was predictable up to the ending, but that did surprise me! Very charming script. Very good acting. Everything just fits!

A clever script aside, I did find the cons rather obvious, who was getting conned anyway seemed obvious. The ending was far more surprising!
