The acting is a bit stilted.Feels a lot like a play, expected for Mamet I guess. Fun if you like con flicks, and enjoyed the ending.
Ebert’s review convinced me to watch it. I don’t think it’s as surprising to a viewer now, but it’s a decent psychological thriller.
Interesting film involving conning a psychotherapist. You trust anyone, and you can't trust anyone to see through a con. D. Mamet specialty.
I think it was predictable up to the ending, but that did surprise me! Very charming script. Very good acting. Everything just fits!

Maybe I've just seen too many conman movies in my life but I saw where this was going every step of the way.
