Bryk & Wolfhard had a good idea for the plot but the execution is too Gen z in the not so great way with a predictable & forgettable slasher
If you like Gen Z humor, you’ll laugh despite yourself. If not, you’ll be miserable. Other than that it’s just another generic slasher.
Nothing special. Basic storyline and acting. Wasn’t bad but wouldn’t watch it again
modern homage to classic slashers. very campy, silly and fun with some cool horror. strong directorial debut !!
I caught an early premiere during the film’s 2025 tour, and while the overall experience was fun, the movie itself was a bit forgettable.
The plot is bad and the kills are dull. Overall just kind of boring.
wouldnt call it gen z humor but the comedy in this is just very bland and you can barely get one laugh out of it but its an ok movie
Look, I love slashers, and dark comedy in slashers, but this one just didn't do it for me.
I NEED more summer slashers like this. It was so camp and funny and like a good change from the more thriller focused ones.
honestly, I loved it. It was just a fun slasher horror movie, but I also wasn’t expecting an Oscar winning performance
