A brilliant allegory for the impact of a perfectionist mother who demands perfection from her daughter and lives her life through her child.
It's ok, makes you wonder who exactly the "monster" is. Some of direction could've been slicker. Jurassic Park bit threw me off a tad. 6/10
You will never see another movie like this. Brilliant!
A unique take on both psychological horror and body horror genres. Do not expect to get scared but you sure will be impressed.
Even if it doesn't look like something you would usually watching, just give it a chance. You will not regret.
A true hidden (horror) gem from northern europe
Pros: a solidly-WTF? first act-and-a-half, and some cool creature effects. Cons: it’s a little slow, and becomes fairly predictable.
Cool metaphorical horror film. Not the best visual effects and some spotty acting but it’s very entertaining
I loved the creature design, but unfortunately, that was short-lived. Decent flick though.
The body horror and concept of this movie is terrific, the end was lacking for me.
