Wow this movie is so beautifully shot and made
Super serious samurai movie from a great director with lots of amazing acting
Maybe not entirely necessary but a perfectly serviceable modern remake of the 60s classic. Much more brutal in this one
More of a samurai drama than a samurai action extravaganza. Still, loved it.
Of course not as good as the original, but the story is unharmed and the directing is only a few notches down from Kobayashi.
A heart wrenching story about the way people struggle in society. Truly one of the best films ever made.
