Go in blind, you'll love this movie or hate it. I had some blackberries watching this, they were good. Blackberries are very hit or miss.
Giving points for a brutal atmosphere, but this movie is so, SO slow. This could have been like a 15 minute short. Overstays any dread.
Awful, pseudo-deep, "artsy"... It's boring, way to slow & long, plot is pointless... Only good thing are the minutelong shots of mountains..
Ponderous but pretty. Albrun washes her hair, milks the goats, wanders the woods in a haze—all set to dark ambient music. Just don’t ask why
Pretentious bullshit. Gives art films a bad name. The Witch rip-off. Director thought adding rape scenes and mountains = meaningful. ITS NOT
I liked this alot, but I am not sure everyone will agree. Very slow but stayed with me after. A thinker. Loved the folklore.
Slow, but great imagery. The more you think about this one the better it gets.
I'll agree that the imagery is great. I just don't think it all ties together very well. I wish it was less vague and more focused.
As bitter as they come yet still delectable. Fans of the horror renaissance of the 2010s, take notice.
Art house bullshit.
