Making this movie a black and grey film adds to the tone and feel of the whole thing.
Justin chin proves how talented he really is. The acting and direction is so real.
This movie shows that even asians struggled in the past
Two 20-something Asian Americans operate shoe store during LA riots. Intense study of surviving the mean streets. Talented Indie cast/crew.
Naprawdę dobrze sie oglądało taki minimalny ,ale zarazem pełen napięcia
Justin Chon is criminally underrated. The American La Haine.
Sort of hard to watch. Hard to finish at least. Well done and great cinematography.
Gives you "do the right thing" vibes just a little more gritty and not so heavy handed with the message at times like do the right thing.
It’s a pretty good adaptation of Do the Right Thing from another perspective and location. It is actually a good film with heart to it.
Not since Do The Right Thing have I seen such an smart, powerful, nuanced and gripping movie dealing with race issues as this one.
