Hellen Mirren is just brilliant portraying the iconic leader Golda. Adrenaline induced movie that grips from start to finish. Great watch.
Shouts out to Kissinger and Golda, gotta be some of the GOAT war mongers. Glad the made a boring, one side propaganda piece about them 🙃
Whether you support Israel or not, Golda is a very important figure and deserves this movie. That being said, this movie sucked.
Dame Helen Miren brings Meir to life in all her grace, flaws, and complexities. An introspective yet familiar wartime character study.
It’s a slog to get through even at only 1h40m. Skip it. I only watched to check it off my 2024 Oscar ballot (makeup and hairstyling).
Mirren is excellent in this examination of the personal & geopolitical intersection of war. Not sure of historical accuracy; It's a movie
Did a great job of depicting the conflict without showing any of the action. A unique take on it.
Surprisingly well-made and acted, with a serious intent to say something profound about leadership and Israeli history. Mirren is wonderful
History not to be forgotten.
