In the not-too-distant future, two drifters traveling through the desert stumble across the biggest gold nugget ever found and the dream of immense wealth and greed takes hold. They hatch a plan to excavate their bounty, with one man leaving to secure the necessary tools while the other remains with the gold. The man who remains must endure harsh desert elements, ravenous wild dogs, and mysterious intruders, while battling the sinking suspicion that he has been abandoned to his fate.

Giving it 3 stars for Efron's performance, but it is a very slow, no plot, weird ending movie

Wasn’t for me love zac but just found it so boring

Like castaway but in the outback of Australia. A good acting performance by Zac but it lacks any real action. Very bleak throughout the film

This film beautifully portrays how greed can change a man's fate.

I found it boring. I stopped a 1/3 of the way in, was planning to go back, but so far don’t want to.

its an okay movie but i had such high expectations from the trailer. quite boring and disappointing. might rewatch once more.

A cautionary tale for avarice, the story is very predictable. The production design is compelling and Effron gives a top notch performance.

Ending ruined the whole movie yeah one of those

Poor attempt at remaking Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Efron’s great acting wasn’t quite enough to pull me in to the story.

This is slow and dull most of the movie the plot is very simple. Honestly though this is some of Zac Efron’s best acting.
