A dark look at the trials some girls grow up with
I do really like this movie, but I understand how it’s not for everyone. I don’t think I’d watch it unless I was already into Sciamma.
Stylish, well-acted coming of age drama that feels more real than the cheesy formulaic Hollywood versions of that genre.

Although it’s a meaningful film about those living in the banlieues, I found it bland and slow and the ending, in my opinion, didn’t fit
