A visually beautiful movies as well as a stunning performance by scarlet Johansson.
Good visuals but it isn't quite engaging. Slow but beautiful.
Filmed to look like a moving Vermeer painting in 1600's Holland. Johansson's craft for understated gift is perfection.

An interest biopic about the famous painting. Scarlett Johansson and Colin Firth deliver fantastic performances.
It was quite delightful, I had to turn to look at the copy of the painting on the wall behind me whenever I saw the Scarlett.
Story is really slow, but it’s a nice watch if you’re familiar with Vermeer’s work. They do a nice job recreating the feel of his paintings
