I think more construction workers should go for it, be whimsical
Tho I could often see the “acting,” I was charmed & the tears I shed were honest. I believe in the power of art to heal & so does this film.
I wasn’t sure what to expect but I enjoyed the humor and the exploration of grief in the family.
What a huge coincidence that they are performing a play that mirrors his actual life, but other than that, beautiful, moving film.
2.8 (review in progress, I want to love it so will re-watch it & come back to this)
It’s good, not great (and a little triggering for me and I didn’t know that going in), but good.
