This movie is incredibly funny, there are lulls but for a first time director it's a good showing
Very funny movie & the cast is really good here but Day is great infront & behind the camera even though the movie could be a bit better.
Underrated, this is hilarious! Charlie Day is funny even when he’s not speaking!
A different type of movie. Can’t decide if I liked or didn’t like it, but it was funny. Huge fan of the actors though.
A Chaplin-esque Wes Anderson style comedy satire of Hollywood sounds great in theory but it falls completely flat. I laughed once. 3/10
Wanted to love this movie. Unfortunately the laughs were rare and the acting was pretty hacky. The comedy drama in film remains dead.
A Chaplin movie without the stunts or heart or jokes for that matter. Aimless story that can’t even say anything new about Hollywood.
Sadly disappointing/underwhelming directorial outing for Charlie Day. Hopefully his next is better 😬
Tough to have a mute AND aimless protagonist (just pick one?). However, the cast, design, pacing and setting are great.
It’s an interesting screen play but some of the performances just don’t translate well.
