After the death of her husband, a mother takes her kids off to live with their grandparents in a huge, decrepit old mansion. However, the kids are kept hidden in a room just below the attic, visited only by their mother who becomes less and less concerned about them and their failing health, and more concerned about herself and the inheritence she plans to win back from her dying father.

Really interesting and super disturbing. It’s definitely worth a watch because it’s quite good, but you will definitely feel weird after!
I liked this film. It has a good twist at the end
"This is a film me and my son used too watch together and we both enjoyed it's quite creepy but also a good story good performances by all"
Good movie very slow, hard to sit through at times based on subject. I had read the book before so I have to say “not as good as the book!”
It was somewhat slow-paced, but definitely one-of-a-kind, and incredibly dark. It's worth a watch.
Wow. Anybody else feel like they are too young to be watching this? Regardless of age, I think I'll always feel too young to watch this.
Watch with kids! No. Do not do that. Never do that!
The grandmother raises incest lovers, i think she's the problem tbh
This was so bad it was funny. Completely changed the ending, removed huge plot points, skipped important scenes. What a joke.
Awful acting, atrocious script, and generally a waste of time.
