I was a realistic and interesting take on the lesbian first love coming of age story...I personally think the male friend ruined the story.
Not that great of a movie but I used to watch this like every month as a 13 year old figuring out she was lesbian
Decent meaning overall about coming out and sexual abuse but it comes as a shock for anyone expecting a light hearted, queer romance.
Why do the sapphics always have to suffer? Thought it was going to be a cute romance, but instead got SA and homophobia. Also, awful wig.
The plot is unique and fascinating and the characters are complex and moving. All you need for an outstanding queer film

It’s pretty boring and Negasonic Teenage Warhead is wearing the most obvious wig which distracted me the whole time.
