Awesome dance and musical numbers. Upbeat, fun and really re-watchable!

Series of vignettes about a few students from NY H.S. Music & Arts. One real student said, 'The film is about 5 a-holes. We only have 5.'

Wonderful music, the perfect movie to sing along with.

I remember little but the theme song and that it is about dancing and performing. Very rarely can I suffer a film focussed on dancing.

Flawed but often powerful. Great music and dance.

The "audition" act is the best/most alive portion, but there are too many kids to feel much for any of them. Paul McCrane stands out, tho.

It's slow and too long for what it tells. It's a no for me.

A fantastic musical about stardom and the struggles these kids have to become the next big star. It also has many great songs.

I don’t really remember it. Don’t know why I rated it. It’s probably good people say it is a classic so

Expected this to be High School Musical from the early 80s. It's way better, some dark stuff in there & some really enjoyable performances
