One of the few good movie musicals of the past couple of years, works even better as a movie than onstage
It’s tremendously contagious storytelling, but as a stage-musical adaptation it is disappointing on numerous levels.
Love this as well as the westend musical

Almost a carbon copy of the original musical, but without the sparkle. This Was Me made me cry though.
Lived up to the stage show incredibly well and added a lot that wasn’t possible to do effectively on stage.
This was so good now I need to go listen to the stage production because I want to know the 7 songs they cut. This was a fun watch!
Nice concept, the acting wasn’t that great!
