Maybe a bit too similar to Rio Bravo but different enough to be just as entertaining. Solid cast, acting, action scenes all around!
John Wayne brings together an exciting story where some hopeless cowpokes pull off a win.

Second time with Hawkes remixing his Rio Bravo formula. Mitchum is the real star here, winning the audience with vulnerability and charm.
Definitely a basic classic Wayne movie.
