Comes very close to being ACTUALLY subversive about some of this, but ends up mostly where you would think. Still fascinating and worthwhile

An Ari Aster film that's not insanely weird, COVID was weird enough. I don't know what the message was supposed to be, but I was entertained
The first half was slow & highlighted the absurdities of early Covid, & the second half really picked up. Didn’t love it, but wanted to.
Ari Aster continues to show us he is a genius. Dark humor politics with some thriller aspects.
