Very successful at what it does, which is putting together the saddest love stories ever conceived into a beautifully crushing feel-bad film
Mesmerizing tales of sharing loved ones wounds through red thread that never wears out like unconditional love.
The framing story is just gutting. Looks stunning too.
My introduction to Kitano's films. Apparently it gets even better? Hard to believe on the evidence of this film. Stunning.
Boting slow and pointless.
