Loved this special, good to see Tennant again. Unfortunately still a bit too in your face with it's political commentary

As an lgbt person the rep felt forced. my nb partner and i were holding our heads during rose’s lines in the metacrisis scene. Worth it tho

The story may need some work, but what makes it great is the energy that permeates the entire episode.

Sure is preachy about the whole gender thing.

I’m an og 10& Donna fan, but the writing really let it down, from the opening to the meta crisis, & the lgbt bits felt forced :( (I’m lgbt)

I really like the doctor and Donna scenes, but I hated how they treated her metacrisis problem, like an afterthought.

Dr. Who handles its first trans character with grace and aplomb. 10th doctor and Donna Noble are wonderful back together. Great episode!

I loved seeing David Tenant as the Doctor again, but it was a little heavy-handed with the "modern" messaging.
