Charming film that while some may find outdated I feel is a very fun and entertaining movie

I just could never get into this as a kid. The reboot movies were catered to my generation at the time & just made this feel boring. 😔

I have a soft spot for musicals so I can’t give it a meh. It is meh for a ‘60s musical though. The wrangling of animal actors is impressive.

Was too drawn out to really be enjoyable. Fun adaptation of the book, some nice set pieces but doesn't really stand up to modern films.

Better than latter versions but that is not saying much.

I know it’s not for everyone but this was my absolute childhood favorite

The charm wears thin as the film is twice as long as it needs to be and the songs that break up the action are completely forgettable.

Painfully boring. The Eddie Murphy remake is not a good movie, but at least it doesn’t drag like this movie. A bummer.

This was honestly pretty dull, even when I was a small child I didn't really enjoy it.

He may talk to the animals but it's a lullaby to the audience in that it sends them to sleep
